Location: Stoke
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5.30pm
Salary: £35,000 per annum
Role Overview:
Join a dynamic and growing Hospitality & Events team in a key leadership role. We're recruiting for a Hospitality & Events Manager to support and develop a team of Coordinators, ensuring consistent, high-quality experiences across national hospitality and events operations.
Reporting to the Group Hospitality & Events Manager, you’ll oversee day-to-day team coordination, support the planning and delivery of events, and lead with a collaborative, people-first approach. This role requires a hands-on leader who brings structure, mentorship, and a commitment to service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Leading and supporting Hospitality & Events Co-ordinators in daily operations
• Managing workflows and distributing requests via Zendesk to ensure consistent service standards
• Ensuring quality and compliance across all hospitality and event activity, including hygiene and food safety
• Onboarding and mentoring team members, providing regular feedback and development support
• Coordinating complex or large-scale events and serving as a point of escalation
• Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
• Maintaining and communicating a centralised events calendar to ensure clarity and alignment
• Supporting supplier engagement, procurement, and logistics in line with dietary and allergen requirements
• Acting as a brand ambassador, promoting service consistency, creativity, and guest care
• Identifying and improving processes to streamline workflows, enhance communication, and ensure compliance
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Experience in hospitality/events with a strong client-focused mindset
• Leadership potential with a collaborative, people-first approach
• Able to manage busy workflows
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Clear communicator and able to build trust across teams and stakeholders
• Proficiency using systems (e.g. Zendesk) to support efficient, high-quality service
• An understanding food safety standard or willing to complete training
• Thrives in a supportive, team-oriented environment
