Summary

Job Title: CNC Miller Setter/Operator

Location: Hitchin

Hours: Mon - Thurs 8am - 4:30pm

FRI 8am - 3pm

Pay Rate: ?32,000 - ?40,500



We are currently recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter for our client in Hitchin. A highly regarded market leader in the Automotive and pharmaceutical industries, specialising in subcontract manufacture of highly precision machined components. Looking to take on an experienced CNC Miller - Setter Operator, due to continued and aggressive expansion and re-investment into brand new machines.



What's the job?

Experienced CNC Miller Setter/Operator
Fanuc & Heidenhain controls
Quality focused working to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
Able to read and interpret drawings
Checking for tool wear or breakage and replacing tools when needed.
Ensuring efficient cycle times while maintaining quality standards.
Excellent awareness of health and safety aspects at work
Ensuring smooth production processes
Verifying that finished components meet tight tolerances and specifications
Making necessary adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy


Who can do this?

10+ Years experience in CNC machining
Setting and Operating CNC Milling machines experience
Fanuc and/or Heidenhain experience advantageous
Working with various materials including Ali and Steel
Good communication skills.
