Summary

The Council has an exciting opportunity for a Property Manager to join our Team to help manage the Councils Investment Property portfolio.

The role will involve ensuring rent, insurance and service charges are collected on time, properties are kept in repair, site visits and liaison with tenants to ensure lease compliance and identify opportunities to help tenants expand and progress and increase the Council's rent income.

The successful candidate will be required to help manage the Council's varied and exciting Investment Estate ensuring rent, insurance and service charges are collected on time, properties are kept in repair and site visits and liaison with tenants to ensure lease compliance and identify opportunities to help tenants expand and progress and increase the Council's rent income.

The Council owns a wide variety of properties including retail, office and industrial premises which require day to day management including Lease Renewals, Rent Reviews, Lettings and liaison with Facilities Management colleagues to identify and remedy repairs issues.

The candidate should possess a Drivers Licence, MRICS qualified, relevant property knowledge from work experience in the private and/or public sector Property Market, ICT literate and should be able to communicate well in person, e - mail and via Teams with Council colleagues in other relevant Departments, Tenants, Consultants and Councillors.
