Summary
Introduction
I am a 58-year-old lady in a wheelchair and due to being young at heart, this can be very frustrating for me. An opportunity has arisen for someone to join my small team of support. I love to go Swimming/Aquafit; going out for coffee and going to the Gym. I have two adorable black cats who are so important to me.
Duties
To support with Personal Care needs, Medication and Meal prep for Healthy Eating.
Supporting with daily exercise, Light housework, Admin and Filing tasks.
Assistance with making phones calls, like booking appointments etc.
Support with Access into the Community
Attend appointments
And lastly support with looking after my cats. Feeding them, making sure they have plenty of water to drink and the cleaning out of their litter tray.
Hours
Negotiable, under review, to fit appointment times on a 2 week rolling rota and to include cover for sickness and Holidays.
Rate: £12.21 to £13.00 per hour, depending on qualifications/experience.
Essential Requirements
Excellent time keeping skills
Must have a good level of English
A Confidence to handle phone calls
Like Cats
Being a good emotional Support when attending appointments
Desired Experience
A Driving License
Open and Willing to learn
An understanding of Mental Health
