Position overview:
We are seeking skilled cricket bat makers to join our team in Ware, Hertfordshire. The ideal candidates will have a deep understanding of the art and science behind crafting bats, ensuring each piece meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities:
• Utilize hand and power tools to craft high-quality cricket bats, ensuring precision in joinery and assembly.
• Fabricate and assemble components, adhering to design specifications and quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment while handling heavy materials.
Qualifications:
• Proficient in hand tools and power tools for woodworking
• Strong carpentry and joinery skills
• Experience in fabrication and assembly of cricket bats
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labour
• Knowledge of cricket bat manufacturing and materials
• Familiarity with electrical and masonry work is a plus
