Summary

The successful applicant will be fully supported by the clinical team leads and we have a varied skill mix within the team. You will be expected to participate with the in-service training programme & the supervision of students & junior staff We have a structured in-service training programme, regular clinical supervision, mentoring and peer support. We are committed to CPD and promoting evidence-based practice and a high standard of care throughout the service To manage a personal caseload using specialist physiotherapeutic assessment for patients who may have complex and diverse presentations, determine clinical diagnosis and plan appropriate management and treatment using specialist clinical reasoning skills and a wide range of therapeutic techniques To assist clinical triage of patients with complex conditions as required To be a specialist practitioner and act as a role model to staff to empower and develop more junior team members skills Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment. You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of £16 per year applies. Please note that this post does not meet the pay level required for a Skilled worker visa. Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.
