Summary
Overview We are currently seeking a DLR operative to join our team at Westferry DLR Station. As a DLR operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Docklands Light Railway system.
Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring the DLR trains and platforms at Westferry DLR Station
- Assisting passengers with ticketing, information, and any inquiries
- Ensuring the safety and security of passengers and staff
- Conducting routine inspections and maintenance tasks as required
- Responding to emergencies and incidents in a prompt and professional manner
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role within the transportation industry is preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
