A bit about me:
I am a 61 year old female, I live in the quiet village of Monkton Farleigh with my husband. We have two dogs and two cats who are very much a part of the family. I enjoy being able to spend time in my garden and find the countryside and nature both therapeutic and calming. I enjoy taking on a variety of art projects, using my hands to be creative.

About the role:
Due to my health issues, which can affect both my physical and mental wellbeing, I am looking for someone who could help me in a variety of ways. General household tasks can often overwhelm me so support with some of these would be appreciated, along with help with some cooking. I can become quite anxious when going out alone to perhaps a medical appointment or even just into town so a companion to alleviate the stress would be really helpful. Unfortunately I can suffer from seizures, although I can usually tell when they are going to happen, therefore someone who can help keep me safe and calm when they do occur may also be part of the job role.

The kind of person I am looking for:
Friendly and approachable, responsible, reliable and trustworthy. Good communication and social skills. Able to respect confidentiality, privacy and be sensitive to my needs. To understand that dignity and independence are important. Be willing to learn and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
