Summary

Electricians - Long-Term Infrastructure Project | Reading | multiple Positions Available

We are recruiting for eight experienced Electricians to join a high-profile infrastructure project based in Reading. This is a great opportunity to secure long-term work with competitive pay, consistent overtime, and performance-based incentives.

Role Overview:

  • Job Title: Electrician
  • Location: Reading
  • Contract Length: 6 months (potential for extension)
  • Start Date: ASAP
  • Working Pattern: 10 days on / 4 days off
  • Basic Rate: £20.38 per hour PAYE
  • Additional Pay:
  • £1.60 per hour bonus
  • £5.00 per hour attendance bonus (paid if all agreed hours are worked)

Overtime Rates :

  • Monday to Friday: Time and a half after 7.5 hours per day
  • Saturday:
  • First 6 hours: Time and a half
  • After 6 hours: Double time
Sunday: Double time for all hours worked

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
  • Valid JIB ECS Gold Card
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance (this is essential)
  • 17th or 18th Edition Wiring Regulation
  • For some roles this is essential, for others it is desirable
