Summary
Jobstore are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our clients leading warehousing and distribution operation in Manchester.
This is a pro-active and very busy Warehouse Picking position, working from 07.30am to 16.30pm, Monday to Friday where you will be required to support the warehouse operation in picking, packing and loading product, stacking shipments and pallet wrapping goods for dispatch.
You will be trained to work using a voice to pick system as well as from pick lists, selecting the appropriate stock from the Warehouse for loading and distribution. Initial training will be on the day shift for a short period of time before moving to nights and an appropriate pay rate for your grade, increasing over time.
Successful applicants must be willing to work hard, have good communication skills and be able to follow instructions throughout the shift as well as be able to work independently. Applicants must have previous picking and warehouse experience and must be looking for long term opportunities as we will transfer workers to permanent contracts after a qualifying period.
