Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Machinist's to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in operating various machinery and tools. This role is crucial in the manufacturing process, where precision and attention to detail are paramount. The Machinist will be responsible for producing high-quality components that meet strict specifications and tolerances.
Duties
Previous Production and Manufacturing experience is essential.
Operate and maintain various power tools and hand tools.
Set up and run CNC machines, including milling and grinding equipment.
Perform plastics injection moulding tasks as required.
Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process.
Collaborate with team members to improve production efficiency and product quality.
Skills
Proficient in the use of power tools and hand tools.
CNC Experience would be an advantage but not essential.
Basic maths skills for precise measurements and calculations.
Ability to assemble components accurately according to technical specifications.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
The hours of work are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4.30pm/Friday 8am to 1.30pm.
The starting salary is £12.21 an hour.
