Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared safely, adhering to food safety regulations and hygiene practices.
Assist in the organisation of the kitchen, maintaining cleanliness and order at all times.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, assisting with stock rotation as necessary.
Help train new kitchen staff in food preparation techniques and safety protocols.
Participate in daily kitchen operations, including cleaning work areas and equipment.
Experience
Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
Familiarity with food safety standards and culinary techniques is essential.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new skills within the culinary field.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
