Summary
We work in a national team, in the Environment and Business (E&B) directorate, helping to plan and to implement plans for the Water Industry related to protecting and improving environmental water quality. This post is to support our Waste Water Flow Strategy and Flow Improvement Plan delivery.
Due to the increase in water and sewerage company flow information and the requirement of large amounts of data management and assessment, we need a new Technical Leader to use their extensive knowledge of this sector to work with our current Senior Advisors to develop tools, polices and guidance to assist operations in their compliance and enforcement work.
In addition to the technical knowledge of the wastewater sector, we also are keen to speak to candidates who have project/programme management experience and can lead a group of advisors and help them deliver key outcomes.
This is an exciting time to join the team to help steer the work that the water companies do.
You’ll have a range of development opportunities and appropriate training will be provided
We value diversity of thought, background, and experience and believe it enriches our work and benefits our people, communities, and the environment.
The team
Our Water Industry Compliance, Incidents and Enforcement Teams work closely together and use evidence, engagement and innovation to support delivery. We influence policy and secure resources for regulation of the water industry and wider water sector. We work closely with Operational Teams and other Environment & Business departments to ensure Areas have the tools and support to deliver their compliance and enforcement work effectively.
Experience/skills required
