Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
Cardinal Newman is an Ofsted rated outstanding school, a community where every individual is valued and expected to excel.
The Governors are looking for a skilled and professional candidate to join the Senior Leadership Team. This is an important role focused on the strategic development and operational management of the school.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to identify and implement improvements, manage the school’s finances, and ensure compliance with legal requirements. You will oversee key contracts, including cleaning and catering, and ensure that resources—financial, human, and administrative—are managed efficiently. In the absence of the Principal, you will make key decisions to ensure the school’s priorities are addressed.
This is a great opportunity for a dedicated and highly professional candidate to help shape an outstanding future for one of the largest schools in England. Reporting directly to the Principal, the post is a genuinely strategic and outward looking one. The successful candidate will join an ambitious and effective Senior Leadership Team and will be supported in their work by an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Administrative Team.
