Summary

Nursing Home Manager – £65,000 + Performance Bonus

Are you an experienced and compassionate Nursing Home Manager with a proven track record of delivering high-quality care? We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected care provider seeking a strong leader to manage a well-established nursing home and ensure it continues to thrive under your guidance.

As Nursing Home Manager, you’ll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, leading a dedicated team to deliver person-centred care and ensure full compliance with CQC standards. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining a welcoming, safe, and high-performing environment for both residents and staff.

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a nursing home rated “Good” or above by the CQC
  • Level 5 Health and Social Care (Leadership and Management)
  • NMC registration (Registered Nurse) – desirable but not essential
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of CQC standards, care planning, and safeguarding
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to drive performance and occupancy

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operational management of the nursing home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and clinical governance
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a skilled team of healthcare professionals
  • Drive occupancy and support the financial growth of the service
  • Foster a culture of dignity, respect, and excellence in care
  • Build strong relationships with residents, families, staff, and the local community
  • Manage budgets, audits, and risk assessments with commercial awareness
