About Us – We Are Care
We Are Care is a forward-thinking and compassionate care organisation that prioritises people over profit. As a social enterprise, our mission is to provide exceptional care services while supporting and empowering our team of carers. Join us in making a meaningful difference in the lives of others while being valued, respected, and rewarded for your work.
Role Overview
We are seeking experienced and resilient male support workers to join a dedicated care team supporting a young person with complex behavioural needs in a bespoke solo setting. This individual benefits from high staffing ratios and structured, specialist support.
This is a physically active role, best suited to those with experience managing behaviours that challenge. Successful applicants will contribute to a dynamic team delivering care in a daytime and community support structure. The role will include NAPPI-based interventions, so NAPPI training is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver person-centred support to a service user with high emotional and behavioural needs
Uphold a structured care plan with consistency and patience
Use approved de-escalation techniques and, when necessary, physical intervention, including floor-based holds (NAPPI framework)
Foster a safe and empowering environment, especially during transition periods
Maintain clear and detailed daily records, escalating safeguarding or behavioural concerns appropriately
Contribute to the wider multi-disciplinary team, including debriefs and handovers
Support outings in the community in a 4:1 ratio as required
What We Offer
Competitive pay: £12.65 – £15.13 per hour
Opportunities with long-term placement prospects
Flexible shift patterns (including days, weekends, and overnights)

24/7 on-call support
A supportive and experienced care team
