Summary
A wonderful family based in Hampstead, London, is seeking a full-time Nanny to care for their three school-aged children. The ideal candidate should hold a degree, preferably in education, and be confident in planning engaging, age-appropriate activities, while also taking initiative with light household tasks during school hours. The family is looking for someone calm and patient, yet energetic enough to keep up with the children and manage light housekeeping duties related to them. One of the children has special needs and requires additional support with activities such as handwriting and using cutlery, so experience or a sensitive approach in this area is essential. Flexibility to travel with the family to Europe for 4 to 8 weeks per year would be a bonus. The household has pets, so the candidate must be pet-friendly. A driver with a full UK driving licence is required, and the candidate should be confident driving both automatic and manual vehicles. A valid paediatric first aid qualification is also required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Friday from 7:30 am to 7:30 pm with a 2-hour break, approximately 50 hours per week
Duties include:
Supervising homework and assisting with learning
Preparing nutritious meals for the children
Supporting with bath time and bedtime routines
Cleaning kitchen surfaces and utensils after use
Handling laundry and ironing duties
Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and polishing around the home
Running errands and carrying out grocery shopping
Changing and refreshing bed linens
Escorting the children to activities and playdates
Keeping the children’s bedrooms and bathrooms clean and organised
