As we grow, we are looking for a passionate and experienced tailor who understands the meaning and significance of Nepali ethnic wear. If you take pride in your work and enjoy helping people connect with their roots through clothing, we would love to welcome you to our team.

Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled tailor with experience in designing and stitching traditional Nepali garments. Your work will include creating garments such as Gunyo Cholo for young girls, Daura Suruwal for weddings, and embroidered saree blouses. This full-time role is based in our Aldershot studio, where you will work closely with clients and colleagues to produce garments that are meaningful and timeless.

Responsibilities
Design, cut, and stitch traditional Nepali clothing for men, women, and children, including bridal, religious, and festive wear.

Meet with clients to understand their needs, take accurate measurements, and advise on fabric and style choices.

Create and adjust patterns to ensure garments fit well and respect cultural details.

Add traditional embellishments such as embroidery, piping, beadwork, and appliqué to enhance garments.

Perform alterations and repairs with care and precision.

Maintain high quality standards and ensure timely delivery of all orders.

Collaborate with team members to support custom orders and seasonal collections.

Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe.

Qualifications
Proven experience tailoring Nepali ethnic wear with a strong understanding of its cultural significance.

Ability to design, cut, and sew garments independently from start to finish.

Skilled in working with fabrics such as dhaka, silk, cotton, and brocade.

Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Strong communication skills and a client-focused approach.

Good time management skills, especially during busy periods.

Formal training in tailoring or garment design is preferred but not required if you have relevant experience.
