Summary
We are currently recruiting an experienced band 6 Pharmacy Technician
Job Duties/Requirements:
To help in providing clinical advice, and contributing to medicines management activities and also conducting medication reviews, offering expertise in drug information, and providing clinical supervision to pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
To be able to take on clinical pharmacy technician duties including ward CD cupboard checks, assessment of patient's own drugs, medicines reconciliation and drug history taking, counselling patients on their medicines and discharge / in-patient transcribing.
They will also be required to help in developing and implementing new services, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
Responding to queries from healthcare professionals, providing expert advice on medication use, and ensuring patients receive appropriate medication information, reviewing patient medication profiles, and identifying and resolving medication-related issues.
