Sewage Surge Chamber Inspection Technician role:
• This position involves inspecting, evaluating, and documenting the condition of underground sewage chambers, ensuring their safety and compliance.
Sewage Surge Chamber Inspection Technician responsibilities:
• Conduct routine and emergency inspections of sewage chambers.
• Use specialised equipment (e.g., CCTV, gas detectors) to assess conditions.
• Document findings and prepare detailed inspection reports.
• Identify and report potential hazards or maintenance needs.
• Always adhere to health and safety regulations.
Sewage Surge Chamber Inspection Technician requirements:
• Previous experience in sewage or utility inspections is essential.
• Comfortable working in confined spaces and varying weather conditions.
• CSCS Card (Construction Skills Certification Scheme)
• Health & Safety Training (e.g., IOSH or equivalent)
• Manual Handling Training
• Important for safely lifting and moving equipment or access covers.
• Driving Licence (preferably with trailer entitlement)
• Street Works Qualification (NRSWA)
