Summary
See Job Description Attached. Responsible for the coordination of the national ANNB screening programmes at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Clinical leadership for the sickle cell and thalassaemia, fetal anomaly (trisomy) and newborn blood spot screening programmes at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Contact for external queries about local ANNB screening services and pathways. Represent Trust at regional NHSE ANNB screening meetings. Ensure a high standard of care is delivered in accordance with current policies and procedures for women, birthing people and their babies. Monitor and maintain good standards of care, implementing recommendations from Government and professional bodies in relation to maternity care.
