Summary
In this role, you are accountable for: 1. Working in an Agile way - you identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes. You help the team to decide the best approach. You help teams manage and visualise outcomes, prioritise work and work to agreed minimum viable product, print and scope.2. Communicating with others - you listen to the needs of technical and business stakeholders and interpret them in a way that is clear for both audiences. You build relationships with stakeholders and influence expectations. You are flexible and communicate proactively and reactively. You facilitate difficult discussions within the team or with diverse senior stakeholders.3. Community collaboration - you work collaboratively within a group, actively networking with others and varying feedback for the appropriate time to ensure the discussion sticks - both internally and across other government agencies. You use your initiative to identify problems or issues in the team dynamic and rectify them. You pull out issues through agile health checks to provoke the best responses.4. Digital perspective - you apply a digital understanding to your work. You identify and implement solutions for assisted digital.5. Evidence- and context-based design - you design systems for use across multiple services and identify the most straightforward option out of various approaches.6. Experience of working within constraints - you identify constraints and communicate about these and work within them. You challenge the validity of constraints. You ensure standards are being met.7. Leadership and guidance - you make decisions characterised by medium levels of risk and complexity and recommend decisions as risk and complexity increase. You build consensus between people. You identify problems or issues in the team dynamic and rectify them. You engage in various feedback types, choosing the right style at the appropriate time and ensuring the discussion and decision stick. You bring people together to form a motivated team and help create the right environment for a team to work in. You facilitate the best team make-up, according to the situation.8. Prototyping in code - you create and validate dynamic prototypes and promote best practices across digital communities.9. Prototyping - you use a variety of methods of prototyping. You share best practices and coach others. You look at strategic interaction design end to end. 10. Strategic thinking - you define strategies and policies, guiding others on working in the strategic context. You evaluate current approaches to ensure business requirements are met and exceeded where possible.11. User focus - you give direction on which tools or methods to best use to meet users' needs across various channels. You provide insight and expertise in how user needs have changed over time to ensure the business meets these. You apply strategic thinking to provide the best service for the end-user.12.
