Summary

Job Title: Street Lighting Operative

Location: Basingstoke, On-site

Salary: £40,000 - £60,000

This opportunity sits with market leaders in the manufacture and installation of permanent road traffic signs and street lighting columns, servicing both the civil engineering and local authority sectors.

Overview

This organisation has been in operation for over 50 years and are well established within their field;

The organisation are looking for hardworking, motivated individuals who can work in teams installing street lighting columns, road sign assemblies, bollards and undertaking electrical connections / testing and commissioning of private cabling systems. They are looking for candidates who have on the tools experience in the Street Lighting sector. In addition, although not essential, should you have any of the following certificates/cards, this would also be of benefit when assessing your application:

Required Experience & Skills:

  • Full valid UK driving license, to include Class C1 (up to 7.5 tons)
  • G39 accreditation
  • City & Guilds 17th edition inspection testing qualification
  • Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card
  • IPAF card
  • Manual Handling & First Aid training
  • HGV (up to 18 tons) license
  • 360 excavators
  • Slinger/Signaler
  • HIAB (all to CPCS)
  • Street Works Qualification
