We are looking for a passionate kitchen assistant to join our team at Redbridge Cycling Centre, to help fuel our cyclist. Based on site, you will be based in a kitchen on a Saturday, providing food and beverages whilst maintaining highest standards in the kitchen and during the meal preparation process. You should have a passion for food and hospitality environment. You must be reliable, dedicated and flexible when it comes to working patterns.
Located in Hainault, Redbridge Cycling centre is a state of the art purpose built cycling centre that has various types of tracks including Road, BMX and off road. The centre welcomes all abilities cyclist from beginners, families as well as competitive riders. The site has qualified British Cycling Coaches on site to assist from customers learning to ride right through to competing at competition level. The centre also has a large range of hiring bikes as well as a workshop for repairs and service.
Job role:
• Prepare all menu components as requested to the required standards
• Follow cleaning schedule for kitchen and related areas
• Follow HACCAP, COSSH and other H&S regulations as required
• Operate all equipment safely and in line with instruction
• Assist with any other task within scoop of the role as required
Essential requirements:
• Understanding of food preparation and processes
• Ability work as part of the team and on their own initiative
• Ability to follow instruction and execute to the highest standards
• Experience in kitchen environment beneficial
