Summary
A wonderful family based in Winchester, Hampshire is looking for a Live in Nanny-Housekeeper to provide attentive care for their precious baby while maintaining the cleanliness of their home. The parents hire a maternity nurse for the first eight weeks, then the nanny-housekeeper will take over caring for the baby. They are looking for someone warm, experienced, and easygoing with a basic understanding of child development. The family has a dog at home, and caring for them while the family is abroad is also needed. A driver who holds a full driving license would be a bonus and a car can be provided.
A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Wednesday to Sunday with flexibility, approximately 50 hours per week
Accommodation: Self-contained flat with bedroom, kitchenette, bathroom, a little dining area, plus a queen-size bed
Duties include:
ironing
laundry
hoovering
mopping floors
cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, kitchens
keeping bedrooms and bathrooms tidy
wardrobe management and organisation
preparation of meals for the child
helping with learning
washing and dressing the child
playing with them
changing nappies
sterilising and cleaning milk bottles
making sure the child is always safe and happy
