Summary


We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Domestic Team at Sherwood Oaks Hospital. You will be responsible for cleaning all our patient and non patient areas.

Previous experience of working within a Domestic or Cleaning environment is desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

We have in-house training to help your personal development plans and will support you with all of your training needs.

Successful applicants with no prior NHS experience would normally be placed at the bottom of the band in line with Agenda for Change. This salary is below the minimum salary required for sponsorship for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa. In these circumstances the Trust would not, therefore, be able to sponsor for a Skilled Worker / Health & Care visa.

Facilities Assistants/Domestic Assistants should have the ability to work effectively and flexibly, both alone and as part of a team. Maintaining a high standard of work will be essential.

20 hours a week Monday to Friday to include bank holidays. Core hours 14:00-18:00

This vacancy will work on a rota whichincludes weekends and bank holidays.

Applicants may be required to cover other units where necessary.

Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is £26.40 (standard) or £54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.
