We are currently looking for enthusiastic Playworkers to join our team! If you are passionate about working with children, enjoy supporting their development through play, and want to make a positive difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Role Overview
As a Playworker, you will assist in the day-to-day care and supervision of children,
supporting the delivery of creative and fun activities that help children learn, grow, and develop. This role will enable you to gain valuable experience in childcare while working as part of a supportive team. You will help foster a positive, engaging environment that aligns with our mission of empowering children through play.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in Activity Delivery: Plan and support the delivery of fun, stimulating, and ageappropriate activities that encourage children’s social, emotional, physical, and
intellectual growth.
• Child Supervision: Help supervise and engage children in play, ensuring their safety and well-being while they participate in activities.
• Team Collaboration: Work as part of a team to create a safe and welcoming
environment where children feel supported and encouraged to explore, learn, and
have fun.
• Health and Safety: Assist with daily safety checks, risk assessments, and ensuring
children are cared for in accordance with safeguarding policies and health and safety standards.
• Build Positive Relationships: Communicate effectively with children, parents, and
other team members to maintain a positive, collaborative atmosphere.
Skills and Requirements:
• Previous childcare experience is preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
• Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality.
• A passion for working with children and supporting their development through play.
• Flexibility and willingness to take on new tasks and responsibilities.
