We are seeking a passionate and skilled Sports Massage Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team and support our clients in their recovery, performance, and overall well-being.
Position Overview
As a Sports Massage Therapist, you will play a key role in helping clients manage pain, improve mobility, recover from injuries, and enhance athletic performance. Working closely with our Ayurvedic practitioners, you will also contribute to integrated treatment plans that draw from both Western and Eastern wellness philosophies.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver high-quality sports massage therapy to clients, tailored to individual needs and treatment goals.
• Assess clients' physical condition and develop personalized massage protocols.
• Work collaboratively with Ayurvedic therapists and other wellness professionals to design holistic care plans.
• Educate clients on self-care, injury prevention, and mobility techniques.
• Maintain detailed treatment notes and client records.
• Uphold hygiene and safety standards in all massage practices.
• Contribute to a peaceful and therapeutic environment that reflects Ayurvedic and holistic values.
Requirements
• Diploma or certification or equivalent in Sports Massage Therapy.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in a similar role with supervisory experience.
• Understanding of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics.
• Excellent manual therapy skills including deep tissue, trigger point, and myofascial techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Respect for and interest in Ayurvedic and complementary therapies (training provided if needed).
Desirable Qualifications
• Experience working with athletes or active populations.
• Familiarity with Ayurvedic principles, oils, or techniques.
• Additional certifications in other massage modalities or holistic therapies.
