We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support, ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment. This role requires proficiency in various administrative tasks, including data entry, clerical duties, and effective communication with clients and team members. You would be supporting our visually impaired client in the Croydon and Greenwich area for 5 days a week Monday and Friday.

About the Role: -

As the Administrative Support Worker your responsibilities will include:
Working with a blind client who is the head of programs for a recruitment company.
Being a sighted guide giving detailed descriptions of the clients surroundings
Traveling with the client to appointments
Taking and typing up detailed notes
Setting up new software and electric devices
Showing the client how to use different pieces of software
Filing and management of confidential data
Inputting information into software and CRM systems
Proof reading and sending emails as directed
General administrative/ supportive duties
The role allows for flexibility in some occasional work from the client’s home, office and remote work.

About You

It is essential that you can demonstrate:
An excellent understanding of Microsoft programmes, including Word, Excel, Outlook and Microsoft Teams with knowledge of Dragon and Dolphin soft
A relaxed and easy-going personality with a very high level of written/verbal communication and professionalism
Demonstrate a high level of trust, integrity with a good understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries
Punctual, organised, and reliable
Be confident as a sighted guide in the London are
Excellent observational skills
Adaptable to change
Excellent understanding of English and Maths, with suitable qualifications i.e. |GCSE’s or equivalent

Pay, Hours and Benefits
In return you will be paid £14.35 per hour, working hours are up to 35 hours per week. 3 days in the office (Greenwich) 1 days from the clients house (Croydon) 1 day a week remote support Monday to Friday.

Holiday entitlement paid and an employer’s contribution to a workplace pension.
