Summary
You will be responsible for facilitating the learning and continuing development of all staff within the unit, ensuring education is responsive to service developments. You will ensure education and clinical skills are delivered in line with key priorities and objectives within neonates for staff to deliver safe and excellent family care. In collaboration with multidisciplinary team, you will be required to develop and maintain an evidence- based service for education and supporting technology-based education resources. You will coordinate and provide induction training for all new staff working on the unit and assist in supporting and evaluation of learning contracts and objectives for staff, working in conjunction with the ward managers to support all staff within their role. You will lead by example, demonstrating effective role modelling to all members of the multidisciplinary team and provide clinical supervision as required.
