Summary
We have an exciting opportunity of a 12 month fixed term Advanced Clinical Practitioner position within General Surgery to cover maternity leave. The position is an opportunity to demonstrate and develop the four pillars of advancing practice whilst part of a motivated and highly experience team. It will at times be a challenging environment and you will need to be skilled, confident and have experience is managing a group of acutely unwell patients. It is essential you have highly developed management and leadership expertise in dealing with people both individually and in a team. You will need to effectively engage with your patients, peer groups, and service users in all elements of your role, leading by example and promoting a supportive, compassionate and caring culture. You will work with Consultants and support the junior on-call medical team to plan and deliver safe, effective and quality care for our patients. This will require an inclusive, transparent, open approach to your role, whereby you are accountable to others and go that extra mile when required. You will hold an Adult Health Assessment, teaching and assessing, non-medical prescriber and Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice qualification. You will be passionate about our business, our Trust behaviours and ambitions and creating a culture of continuous improvement, where patient welfare is at the heart of all you do.
