Priory School is a rapidly expanding Independent School, situated on an extensive green campus near the centre of this vibrant city.
As an apprentice in the Priory Poppets Nursery, you will;
Provide care, promote learning through play, and observe and record the children's progress, while also communicating with parents and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children under our care.
Look after the health and well-being of the child, such as feeding babies and changing their nappies.
Observe children's progress and development, and keeping a record of this to communicate with parents.
Help children to develop core skills.
Provide a safe and enabling environment for children to learn in.
Supporting children by implementing the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
Encouraging physical activities to keep children active.
Supporting communication and social skills to help children interact with those around them.
Helping children with their individual educational needs.
Ensuring safeguarding and welfare procedures are adhered to.Benefits:

Training
Your full role
and responsibilities will be set out by your employer. Priory School
will provide you with all of the on-the-job training you need to up-skill in
your role, and your 20% off-the-job learning will be incorporated as part of
your working day.
You will be working towards the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner apprenticeship standard, which includes:
Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours
Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Qualification
Functional skills in Maths and English if requiredThis will be delivered through Priory School's dedicated training provider, Realise.
