£30,138 per annum pro rata (actual £25,258 per annum)

We are looking to appoint an inspiring and enthusiastic Pastoral Coach to work with our 16-18 ESOL learners who are on a Full Time Study Programme at the college.

You will have experience in supporting ESOL learners, especially those who are UASC and an understanding of the additional challenges these learners face in overcoming trauma and accessing education. Knowledge and experience of working with a wide range of support services is vital.

You will have demonstrable experience in working collaboratively with excellent communication and organisational skills. A working knowledge of MS Teams & MS Office (incl. Word, PowerPoint & Excel) is required and an understanding of using EBS is preferable but not essential. The ability to keep timely and accurate notes on central systems is essential.

The successful candidate will be working with the Curriculum Lead and lecturers within this course and will assist with supporting learners in their studies, including using attendance and progress reports to highlight students at risk and develop support plans to help them stay on course.

This position is both challenging but highly rewarding and you will play a vital role in helping learners progress towards their destinations.
