The role: An opportunity to join NHS Devon’s Finance Directorate, supporting financial strategy, reporting, and assurance across the ICB and wider system. This role is vital in maintaining sound financial operations and contributing to system-wide financial recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and code Accounts Payable invoices in line with public sector payment standards.
Provide support via the Accounts Payable Helpdesk, resolving supplier queries.
Raise and manage sales orders, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
Assist with month-end processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Maintain financial records and input data into ledgers and accounting systems.
Support internal/external audit processes and financial governance.
What the client is looking for:
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
High accuracy in data input and strong MS Office skills (especially Excel).
Clear communicator with good written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks independently.
Understanding of NHS financial practices desirable.
