Summary
Opportunity for Care Assistant in Derbyshire based care homes.
You will aid elderly service users with their daily tasks, supporting them with mobility, hygiene and nutritional requirements. Many residents suffer with age related illnesses such as dementia and Alzheimer’s, therefore, you will be expected to prioritise their physical and psychological wellbeing.
As a Care Assistant you will also be responsible for completing housekeeping tasks, following health and safety guidelines, the accurate reporting of condition updates and reporting incidents to senior staff
To apply for this role, you must:
Have 12 months experience within a UK Care Home Setting
Ables to provide references covering the last 2 years of work
Have an in-date enhanced DBS check dated within the last 6 months, ideally on the update service if not

Typical working hours will be:
Early 06:00-14:00
Late 14:00-22:00
Long day 06:00-22:00
Rate of Pay is £12.21 rising to £12.92 per hour after 12 weeks. we also pay an unsociable hour rate between 7pm and 7am at £17.09 per hour
