Summary
To work closely with the multidisciplinary team and other agencies in health and social care as appropriate. To undertake new diagnostic assessments for ADHD while also assessing co-morbid mental health presentation and to initiate treatment and monitor the effects of medication and treatment. To assess risk and manage this with the help of the multidisciplinary team To undertake assessments for psychiatric conditions in children and initiate treatment working closely with the MDT To attend regularly and contribute to the MDT discussions To make appropriate referrals as needed and work closely with partner organisations To participate in regular Audit and Quality Assurance programmes to improve and maintain the high standard of service. Participation in POMH audits is encouraged.
