Summary

Our Tribunals Operations Directorate have a fantastic opportunity to join the team in Edinburgh as an Administrative Officer Caseworker on a full time, permanent basis.

Tribunals Operations provides administrative support to several Scottish Tribunals, based in three administrative sites in Hamilton, Glasgow and Edinburgh.

The advertised post is a key operational role providing administrative support to the General Regulatory Chamber. The Chamber deals with appeals relating to Charity Appeals and Transport Appeals with further expansion expected in the coming year.

The advertised post provides an excellent opportunity for the successful applicant to be involved in a vibrant and busy working environment with the prospect of developing their own learning through frequent contact with our judicial partners.

The post holder will need to be willing to build extensive knowledge of the Tribunals jurisdiction, recognising key personnel, both internal and external, whilst building an understanding of the Tribunals aims and objectives.

This post involves being the first point of contact with people from both inside and outside of the Tribunal and wider SCTS organisation. The successful applicant must be self-motivated, a good communicator and have a good understanding of IT packages.
