As a Gynaecology Cancer Nurse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the management and care of patients with gynaecological cancers. You will manage a case load of patients and help and support them through their journey.

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Gynaecology Cancer Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care and support to individuals diagnosed with gynaecological cancers.

As a Gynaecology Cancer Nurse Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the management and care of patients with gynaecological cancers. Your responsibilities will include:
• Clinical Care: Provide expert nursing care and support to patients throughout their treatment journey, including pre-operative, post-operative, and ongoing care.
• Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their diagnosis, treatment options, and ongoing care plans.
• Multidisciplinary Collaboration: Work closely with oncologists, surgeons, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Case Management: Coordinate patient care, manage clinical caseloads, and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Support Services:Offer emotional support and counselling to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs.

Support the Clinical Nurse Specialist with a defined case load, including the setting of standards of care, assessment of care needs and the development and implementation and evaluation of programmes of care. " To act as a link between the MDT and other primary and secondary care providers both locally and regionally to provide a seamless pathway of care to oncology patients across gynaecology " Responsible to deliver care working with defined protocols for defined caseload in the following: - Clinics - Referral to medical colleagues if any deviation from patient protocols occur.
