Summary
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our wonderful children's nursery Kinderview Marple. You will be initially trained to Level 2 or Level 3 standard depending on grades already gained in education. You will contribute towards a high-quality caring environment for children. This includes creating a
warm, friendly, and stimulating atmosphere in which the children can develop emotionally, socially and educationally through individual attention and group activities.
The job role would include working 4 full days at nursery ( 8 1/4 hours per day) with a day off per week to support self study and independent research.
Key Responsibilities
• Meeting with in-house apprentice trainer and the training provider also completing assignments on time.
• To attend team meetings and participate in sharing ideas.
• Under supervision provide all aspects of care for children including washing,
changing, and feeding.
• To assist with meeting the personal, social, and emotional needs of individual
children
• To support children in their play interacting with them appropriately throughout the day
• To attend all training relevant to the role and deemed appropriate by the
manager/training provider.
• To be aware of the nursery’s confidentiality policy and all other policies the
manager deems appropriate
• Proactively work as part of a team
• Engage in a good staff team.
• Engage with the children's parents discussing their children's day at nursery in an informing manner
