Summary
Experienced Kitchen Porters needed at Watford
We are currently seeking 3 reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porters to join a busy team for a temporary assignment running from the end of May through June. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and gain valuable experience.
Position Overview:
Role: Kitchen Porter
Location: Watford, WD25
Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour
Contract: Temporary (30th May – end of June)
Shifts Available: 15:00 – 23:00, 16:00/18:00 – 03:00 and 21:00 – 05:00
Start Date: Friday 30th May
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and food preparation areas
• Wash pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and areas are sanitised
• Support chefs and kitchen staff as needed
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter (essential)
• Physically fit and capable of heavy lifting
• Must have own reliable transport due to location and late-night shifts
• Able to work evenings, nights, and weekends as required
• Punctual, hardworking, and a strong team player
