Summary
Job Title: Cleaning Operative (Part-Time, 25 Hours per Week)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Location: Huyton (Servicing Liverpool & Surrounding)
Salary: £12.40 to £21 per hour (Varies dependent on type of clean)
Reports to: Cleaning Supervisor / Operations Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Cleaning Operative to join our team on a part-time basis. This role involves completing a range of cleaning tasks including deep cleans, regular maintenance cleans, and biohazard cleaning in accordance with established health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-standard deep cleans in commercial & residential settings
Carry out scheduled routine maintenance cleaning duties, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene across assigned areas.
Safely handle and clean biohazard materials following strict procedures and PPE guidelines.
Maintain cleaning equipment and notify management of any repairs or replacements needed.
Accurately complete checklists and cleaning logs as required.
Comply with COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) and infection control protocols.
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to report issues or complete handovers.
Requirements:
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures.
Must be physically fit and able to lift, bend, and be on your feet for extended periods.
Willingness to undergo necessary training, including biohazard and infection control procedures.
Enhanced DBS check may be required depending on work location.
MUST HAVE access to your own vehicle
