Summary

We’re looking for an experienced and forward-thinking Senior Social Media Manager to lead the strategic direction of our social channels in one of the most fast-paced and high-profile environments in the UK.

Working at the intersection of creativity, communication, marketing and public engagement, you’ll be responsible for shaping how we show up across platforms — crafting bold, timely, and impactful content that informs, inspires, and connects with global audiences.

You’ll work alongside multidisciplinary teams on projects that truly matter — applying your digital expertise to campaigns that have national reach and real-world impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and execution of social media strategies that support high-profile campaigns and day-to-day communications.
  • Manage and inspire a talented team to deliver creative, effective, and channel-appropriate content across platforms including Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube, Facebook, and more.
  • Translate complex information into accessible and engaging social content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, videographers and animators to create compelling multimedia content.
  • Monitor platform performance, generate actionable insights, and adjust strategies to optimise reach and engagement.
  • Advise on platform best practices and stay ahead of digital trends, tools, and emerging formats.
  • Coordinate with press, policy, and stakeholder teams to ensure consistency and alignment across communications.
  • Support rapid response and digital crisis comms when needed, ensuring accuracy and clarity under pressure.
