A supportive and specialist SEMH secondary school in Islington is currently seeking passionate and resilient educators for two exciting full-time teaching opportunities:
- Deliver engaging Maths lessons to KS3-KS4 students with social, emotional, and mental health needs
- Adapt lesson content to individual learning styles and academic levels
- Promote numeracy, confidence, and a positive learning environment
- Work closely with support staff to maintain classroom consistency and structure
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant UK teaching qualification
- Experience working in SEMH or Alternative Provision settings (preferred)
- Excellent behaviour management and a calm, nurturing approach
- Previous experience managing challenging behaviour.
- Ideally experience working with children and/or young people.
- Valid and enhanced child or child and adult DBS check.
To be eligible for this role you must have an Enhanced Child or Child & Adult Workforce barred list DBS Certificate registered on the update service.
