We're working with a leading precision engineering company based in Willenhall who are on the lookout for an experienced Production Manager to join their Senior Leadership Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that prides itself on quality, performance, and continuous improvement.

You'll be stepping into a key role, responsible for overseeing production across multiple units, driving operational performance, and leading a large team in a fast-paced, high-precision environment.

What you'll be doing:
. Managing daily production across multiple sites, ensuring performance targets like OTD, OEE, and OTIF are hit
. Creating Excel-based production schedules using job routings and coordinating with Engineering
. Rolling out visual management tools to monitor job progress and workflow
. Driving cost reduction and process improvements across the board
. Managing transport and subcontractor schedules to align with production output
. Leading, motivating, and mentoring a large production team, including Team Leaders and Supervisors
. Supporting product flow and customer updates alongside the Production Expeditor
. Collaborating with Business Systems and Maintenance to ensure smooth and efficient operations
. Championing quality standards (AS9100), reviewing contracts, and supporting issue resolution
. Leading on health & safety and TPM compliance
. Driving internal comms and stepping in with technical support and escalation where needed

What we're looking for:
. At least 3 years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering production environment
. Solid grasp of production planning and lean manufacturing
. Working knowledge of CNC machining and metal fabrication
. Comfortable with ISO9001 / AS9100 standards
. Proficient in Excel and Outlook
. Bonus points for experience in precision machining, and an Engineering degree or HNC/HND
. GCSEs in Maths & English (C or above)
. Clear communicator - written, verbal, and customer-facing
