This could be your opportunity to join our team of Case Officers delivering frontline services to the Canterbury district. You will be the main contact for the public, bereavement specialists and contractors with works relating to services we offer in cemeteries on a day-to-day basis. About this Level 2 Cases Services Officer job:
Here’s what you will be doing:
Responding to emails, from the public, on a daily basis in a timely and professional manor with relevant information required
Answering phone enquiries
Liaising with bereavement specialists, stonemasons and contractors
Process of applications and payments for burials, memorials, transfer of ownership and pre purchase of graves
Registrations of all burials and deed management
Updating of burial records and management of bespoke software
Working pattern
You will be working a 37-hour week Monday to Friday, excluding bank
holidays. You will need to be able to work from 8.30am to 5pm.
Our team is hybrid therefore we are required to go into the office and work together with working from home.
The role is a permanent role.
About you, you will have the following:
Work as a team player
Excellent IT skills
Able to prioritise your workload methodically and with diligence
Patient, empathetic and emotional resilience and control
Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse audience in writing and verbally on a wide range of services
Resilience to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to multitask and effectively handle tasks or responsibilities that span various functions of our service delivery
Experience within the cemeteries background is desirable but not essential
Interviews are planned to take place week commencing 23 June 2025.
