About the Role:
I'm looking for a reliable, organised and friendly Support Worker / Personal Assistant to help me manage daily tasks at home and when travelling for work. The role is funded by Access to Work and would suit someone who is flexible, proactive, and happy to support both at home and while away on business trips.
Key Responsibilities:
At Home (Cramlington):
- Light cleaning and tidying
- Shopping (with or without me)
- Preparing drinks and light meals/snacks
- Help with planning and day-to-day organisation
- General assistance to support productivity and independence
- Ad hoc tasks agreed in advance
- Travel support (driving or accompanying me on train/plane)
- Overnight stays for work trips
- Assistance during travel and at mealtimes
- Flexible working hours depending on trip itinerary
- No personal care required
- You don’t need specific experience in healthcare — just common sense, reliability and a respectful approach.
About Me:
I work in a professional role for a multi-national company and work from home, with occasional travel to Leicester or Windsor. I'm a former Paralympian, charity founder, and public speaker — so no two days are quite the same. I’m positive, respectful and collaborative and looking for someone who fits that energy.
What I’m Looking For:
- A proactive and flexible person
- Great communicator with a sense of humour
- Comfortable travelling and staying overnight when needed
- Someone who can commit to regular weekly hours (with some variation)
- Full driving licience
