We’re looking for someone who is reliable, a good communicator and shows dignity and respect towards others, to become a personal assistant (PA) to provide 2:1 support for our 16 year old son who has an autism diagnosis.
His interests include walking, been out in nature, trains, going to coffee shops, & Lego. The successful PA’s will support him to gain independence with these activities.
5 hours per week per PA which could be weekdays after 3:30pm, or weekends to be arranged with the employer. There are also additional hours during the school holidays of 4 hours per week per PA.
Driving licence preferred.
The rate of pay will be £12.40 per hour and a full induction and training will be provided when in post. An enhanced DBS check will be carried out through Leeds City Council prior to starting in the role.
