Role Overview
The Marketing Executive is responsible for managing marketing communications across digital and print channels. They will need experience of maximising return on investment and income of all promotional and marketing campaigns. The ideal candidate will have practical experience of building relationships and working with suppliers to drive customer acquisition and product growth across online and print marketing channels. They will be passionate about delivering consistently high-quality work.

  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure all available advertising slots are filled.
  • Coordinate promotions, produce print marketing including annual brochures.
  • Provide performance reports and manage budgets in alignment with financial expectations.
  • Work with the Head of Buying and Head of Sales to optimise campaign effectiveness.
  • Drive customer recruitment and advertising revenue through brochures, leaflets, mailings, and digital platforms.
  • Deliver exceptional service by working proactively with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Utilise marketing insights to maximise sales and profitability for suppliers.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Finance to ensure timely processing of supplier advertising proposals and funding confirmations.
  • Support additional tasks as required to contribute to the success of the team.

Essential Skills

  • Highly organised and self-motivated.
  • Experience of working in a B2B environment.
  • Committed to delivering high-quality work with a zero-tolerance approach to errors.
  • Passionate about marketing, with a strong understanding of print and web channels.
  • Strong problem-solving and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, including pivot tables, data tables, and data manipulation.
  • Effective verbal communicator, able to engage with colleagues and suppliers.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify and capitalise on opportunities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Hardworking, reliable, and results-driven, with a talent for building strong relationships.
  • Team player with the ability to thrive under strict deadlines.

Desirable but not essential

  • 2 years’ experience in this or a similar role.
  • Experience in a B2B industry.
  • Experience in the drinks industry.
