What skills and experience we're looking for
Southwark Park Primary school is looking for an enthusiastic educator with a passion for teaching to work in an Early Years Classroom. The ideal candidate will be someone who lives and breathes inclusion and diversity, celebrating the range of children we have at Southwark Park Primary School and champions their needs to ensure that all children have every opportunity to succeed. You should be a team player, who can work alongside the energetic and skilled senior leadership team and be both strategic and operational when required.
Southwark Park Primary School is a two-form entry primary with a Nursery in the heart of Bermondsey. Whilst having high expectations for all children’s attainment, we also place a huge significance on their wellbeing and personal development. This is further acknowledged through our work as a Health and Wellbeing champion for Southwark Council as well as being a Gold UNICEF rights respecting school. We pride ourselves on developing children's life chances and through being a trauma informed school, working to support children through their adolescence. This was recognised by OFSTED in October 2023 where we received outstanding for our Pupil Development grading.
