Summary
The number 1 key activity of the job holder is to ensure that the business runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis
The job holder will provide administration support to our director to assist with business operations
Responsible for enforcing company policies and procedures within the office, including the upkeep of Health & safety documents including RAMS and inhouse procedures.
Process sales orders and liaise with suppliers regarding supply.
General housekeeping/office management and upkeep of routine jobs ie ensuring that workshop equipment and vehicles are booked for servicing/examinations /MOTs etc. Running errands using a company vehicle (van or car)
Attend to any correspondence and emails from customers, suppliers and contractors
Providing and organising arrangements prior to site visits – ie issuing insurance documents, providing Risk assessments and method statements for the job that is planned.
Communicating with our customers regarding visits.
Booking and managing Engineers visits to customers sites and providing Reports to the customer after the visit.
As part of the team, you will be expected to deal with ad hoc telephone calls, visitors and serve customers at our trade counter when required.
Assisting with the processing of sales orders and issuing Sales invoices (using sage 50). And Providing quotations for products and engineering services
All aspects of Administration
This role is full time, Monday to Friday 8- 5pm.
The role is based at our office in Heckmondwike, West Yorkshire.
Essential requirements:
• Must have very strong administration and communication skills, with high attention to detail
• Experience in a similar job role /managerial experience
• Ability to work independently and assume ownership, as well as be a
supportive team member
• Be professional and organised and able to prioritise the teams workload as well as your own work load and maintain a complex diary
• A person who loves to get things done and has systems and processes in place to keep everything running smoothly in a fast-paced environment
• Must have a Positive, proactive mindset
• Experience of using Microsoft software. Knowledge of Sage 50 would be useful
• A full UK Drivers licence is Essential

We provide engineering services including full machine shop services (CNC), overhead crane sales, maintenance , Thorough examinations of lifting equipment (LOLER), Servicing, full inhouse fabrication services, repairs.
